After getting a "multiple bulb failure" trouble message I checked the lights and found that both side marker lights, the ones ahead of the doors, were out. I p[o[pped out the one in front of the driver door, the bulb seemed okay, but there was very little voltage to the socket, less than 2 v - which I figure I the canbus monitoring.
I haven't checked the pasenger side one yet - those holders are tough to get to!
Could it be that the passenger bulb is dead and that's also affecting the dirver side current? I kind of doubt that. What else could be happening?
Anyone what fuse controls those bulbs? My owner's manual doesn't list that info.
Thanks!

Those side markers just ahead of the doors only come on with the turn signals.
My reccomendation is to check all your taillights. Make sure they are all the same brand. Different brand bulbs may have different resistance values even though they are the same wattage. The bulb failure system looks for resistance differences to determine bad bulbs. If the difference is too high then the warning light comes on.
