P0452,P0451 codes Possible solutions please
I have a 99 S80 T6. I keep getting a P0452 code. Thinking I need to replace the gas tank sensor.Hoping that is all rather than replacing the fuel pump. Every once in a while the cas cap loose light will come on and then go out as well. Am I on the right track to the repair by replacing the tank sensor? I can get one through Rock auto for $150. The real bugger is going to be getting to the top of the fuel tank. I was told I would be able to get there by removing the rear seat. I have the PDFs on the removal of the seat but not sure where to go after that. Any help from anyone who knows what to do and if I'm on the right track would be greatly appreciated.

According to this link, you are on the right track:

I removed the rear seat once, the only real nasty/difficult part is releasing the two clips (one on each side/end of seat). You have to contort a bit, and if I recall correctly, it would help if you have small hands. I think I eventually had my son do it. Maybe his finger wear stronger or ???
