Hey forum,
Happy Friday to all. I need to replace the rotors on my 06 XC90. I've started my search and FCP has OE front rotors but not rear. I thought that was kind of strange and I may even call to see if they have them but don't advertise for some reason but that is not my question. They do have Zimmerman rear rotors which are close to the OE price on other sites. I've found one forum member who has used them and likes them but I'm curious if anyone else has given them a shot. Does Zimmerman make the rotors for Volvo?
I'd really like to order both sets from the same place. It saves a ton on shipping(free over 150), it's easier and I have a 20% off coupon. That being said if they are junk I'd rather not go through the effort of putting them on and having issues just to save a few bucks.
Thanks for the advice.

Replacing only front rotors
Zimmermann brake rotors. Where made? Website of factory?

Volvo XC90 Front Brake Job
I don't have any experience with Zimmerman rotors, but some digging (not all XC90 specific) reveals generally good reviews. JRL suggests looking for coated Zimmermans -- $5 more according to his post in the above links -- to prevent rust.
As a general rule German-made parts are better than Chinese, so if you see they're made in Germany that's good.

I have the coated and cross-drilled Zimmermans on my S70 and have 50,000 miles on em. They were great for the first two years, but heavy stop and go driving has warped them a bit. Still, they lasted longer than stock Volvo rotors did. Mine were made in Germany; circa 2010.
