coolant warning, oil pressure light
coolant warning, oil pressure light
I have a 2000 volvo v40 w/140k. It has been a great car and never given me any problems, serviced regularly. Yesterday I had a raidiator burst on the freeway, temp went up just barely into the red briefly befor I could exit. I turned it off, saw my problem and had it towed. after refilling the radiator to isolate the leaking area, I drove it aroung the block several times some steam came out, but the temp gauge never went past half, I was able to find the radiator leak. My concern however is that the oil presuure light came on, just at idle, while driving around the block for about the third time. It went off imediately upon exeleration. Is this tied to the cooling system level low? Or do I need to be concerned about something else? No other leaks and the car run very well.
