gas mileage and seafoam

2001 v70 t5 - I just finished the seafoam treatment and the car is running great. smooth idle, good acceleration , but I noticed my average gas mileage has dropped according to the onboard computer. I haven't actually checked it against the odometer. is there any accuracy to the computer estimate. and why would it drop after I cleaned the intake, crankcase and fuel system? any thoughts?

It shouldn't.
You may just be driving it a bit more briskly and you don't realize it since it's running better
