Question about Gauges

How to go faster, stop quicker, and turn harder. Chips, exhaust, larger turbos, bigger/slotted/drilled rotors, high performance brake pads, manual boost controllers, performance shocks/struts/springs, airbox mods and more! Also discussion on HID and Xenon lights, aftermarket foglights and other exterior lighting.

Question about Gauges

Post by jtp »

I'm trying to find a good air/fuel ratio gauge that would work with the three-gauge pods that clip on the trim next to the driver's side door.

Any suggestions both on a gauge and on a pod that matches my beautiful vintage black vinyl? I want the whole setup to more or less match with the stock interior styling of the car.

Also, I already ordered a Boost Gauge, so what do you guys measure with the "extra" hole in a three-gauge pod? Boost, air/fuel, and _______.

Does this thing do air/fuel ratio. If I'm mistating what I'm looking for I basically want to know if the car is ever running rich or lean. And I want to know before a code is set.

Oil pressure is always good to keep an eye on. A wideband gauge would be best for watching A/F ratio. I made my own pod by the radio.Image

And I have my wideband in my vent.
