Engine gaskets and seals for 1987 Volvo 245

I have a 1987 240 DL that has over 250 thousand miles (which passed smog with flying colors!), love my civilian tank!! however it has a leak (oil) also wont get out of overdrive (selenoid?) anyways was thinking of taking the whole engine apart and replace all gaskets etc (just for fun as well as to learn more- to use that knowlege for my other volvo 850 -daily use car) what gaskets and seals are there, is there a whole gasket seal combo kit i an buy? would love your help.

Have a look at our sponsor's, IPD, website. They list all the gaskets and oil seals you would need. I doubt you would need the head gasket as you would need to have the head checked for warping and possible machining.

Dealers will be able to supply kits of gaskets and seals but the cost would be way above those from any of our sponsors.
