740, 1990 replacing drivers side turn signal lens

I need to replace my driver side turn signal lens. It looks like I have to remove the whole headklight assembly. Can anyone tell me if thats correct? If so what is the correct way of removing the assembly.

Welcome to Matthew's Volvo Site.

The lens is held in place by two slide-in plastic clips next to the headlamp and can be removed with the headlamp in place. You access the clips from inside the engine compartment.
