FS NY: S/V/C/850 Omega A/C Evaporator

Installed in Fall 2011, which translates to not much use at all. My OEM Volvo unit was fine, and I had the dash off anyways, so I reinstalled it. There are no problems whatsoever with this evaporator, I'd rather get some money back on it than have a good one laying around my garage.

All you'll need is a new foam evaporator seal from Volvo and this puppy will be ready for summer. I can screenshot the purchase receipt to prove age of the unit if requested.

How much work is it to replace an evaporator in an 850? Compare it to a 240, if possible, since I know how long that takes :P

I haven't done it but here is a guide to give you an idea - this is a $1000 job at the shop, or a very long weekend (I'd do it in two) at home.

Bump.

For first timers, it should be doable in two days. I can do it in under four hours, but thats having done it twice before and having all of the tools on hand. (ac disconnects and whatnot)

Certainly a DIY, but your time will vary based on your dash removal expertise. :-)
