Just purchased a 2006 v8

This is my 1st Volvo. I was very lucky to find this 06 that just came off of its warranty with most things replaced when needed, including the transmission.

I like to turn my own wrenches.
I'm looking forward to finding new friends, on Matthew's Volvo Site

My wife (from Shorewood!) and I are looking for a new car, and the 06/07 XC90 is high on our list. Did you get yours from a Volvo dealer/other dealer/private party? We are going to be doing some test drives soon, so I'm interested in some feedback on how any particular dealers were to deal with.

About the XC90, was there anything that almost killed the deal for you or things that "you're settling for"? I'm thinking about features, design/ride/feel, reliability, etc.? I'm clear on the positive aspects, but when you get into the nitty-gritty, what are the negatives from your perspective?

Which v8 the s80 or the xc 90 the s80 is nice and sounds awesome with the v8
