How to remove/disassemble parking brake

Hello, I would like to know how to take out the entire assembly of the parking brake on my 2004 T6 XC90?, what I need to take out is the foot pedal, but I know that it comes with its housing.

Not familiar with XC90 but if you have the Hand Levered E-Brake it should be cabled to the rear brakes. As for the Foot Pedal do you mean the Foot Brake Pedal? You should be able to remove that without getting involved with the E-Brakes. Please provide more info as to what your goal is in removing the "foot pedal" so others besides myself can better assist.

Hi BKM, thanks for your reply. My xc90 has foot brake pedal, so I need to replace it (foot pedal assembly). I will appreciate if you can give instructions with pics if possible to do it.

Hi 007,

Not sure what is happening with your Parking Brake Pedal Assembly but there is very little info on-line. You may want to call the Dealer for a Schematic. Volvo can print it out for you. One person mentioned his being repaired 3 times under warranty.
