I have a 2004 XC70 which has the STC warning light flash when you turn a corner. It only appears to flash if you are on the gas while turning. The light stops flashing when you are going straight. Any help would be appreciated.
Thanks

The best approach is to have codes read by Vida-Dice. A good analysis should indicate where to start.
An easy thing is to look for dirt buid-up on wheel sensors. Look for posts in the repair database on this subject.

IT will flash to let you know traction control is active when there is no fault.
Try light throttle and see if it still comes on.
Often AWD system problems will show as flashing traction light as the power usually distributed to 4 wheels is not only going to fronts and one will slip as you accelerate when turning.
Getting codes read to see if the AWD system is not functioning is the place to start as DGM said.

I know its not my job to bump this, But I am having the same exact issues with my 04 xc70.
Everything is EXACT, however it only happens when taking a right hand turn.
Has anyone ever experienced this issue and how did it get resolved?

I Bought 2 tone rings actually (and heir and a spare as they say) and heated it up in the oven @410 for an half hour.
And when I went to put it on. Just went right on, no troubles. Torqued everything down and went for a quick test drive.
It was only around the block but seems that everything is back up to snuff.

Can you post the source and part numbers for the tone rings, and we will forgive you for thread bumping
(not an issue, by the way, when your post is on point, as it is.)
