I found the tabs on this broken, and it was off with the spring pushing it against a hose.
Its connected to the brake booster and what I guess are vacuum hoses are attached to the bottom piece
Have been searching, but dont know if its actually a brake booster switch, simce I cant find any for the 2003 v40
A name or even better a part number would be great..

It looks like part #14 on the attached from VADIS. NS means it is not stocked as a replacement part by the dealer. A quick trawl through our sponsors hasn't brought up any results.

Thanks billofdurham, by any chance do you have the Vadis for the headlights and such, seems its common for the adjusters to break in brittle pieces, just wondering if I can find new ones..
