2001 Volvo v70 2.5 turbo diesel
Hi all,
First I would like to apologize for asking for help on my first post but I really could do with a little help. I had the car last week and really happy with it but Ive just hit a problem,suddenly all the electric windows, electric wing mirrors and temp gauge stopped working. Ive looked online and read a few articles about cleaning rocker switches in on the main drivers door electrics so I went and removed it to find its not rocker switches but rubber buttons on the circuit board and I cant seem to find a blown fuse so I'm now a little stuck.
Anyone have any ideas?
Many thanks.
Windows,mirrors no power:(

The wiring diagram can be consulted here;

I would suggest that you have a second look at fuse # 27 in the passenger compartment.
Also look at # 35,36,37
On pages 83 and 90 (PDF) you have the schematic diagrams for power windows and mirrors.
The sensor for coolant temperature is connected directly to the ECM then there is nothing in common that I can see with windows/mirrors.
Ideally you should have your car scan with Vida-Dice if it isn't a fuse. There is a lot of electronics in these cars and access to Volvo propriatory codes is important.

It make sense because the outside temperature sensor is located in the RH mirror and interface with the PDM/DMM.pritch wrote:Hi,Thanks for your reply and I will check the fuses you quoted. My mistake, the temperature gauge I mentioned is the electronic outside temperature gauge not the coolant gauge.
Thanks
