I can settle all the compatibility concerns. I ran Vadis on Windows Vista 32 bit, Windows Vista 64bit, and now on Windows 7 64bit.

For it to work, you must do as Matt suggested(though I didn't use any anti virus...but it;s an excellent idea.)

Volvo Vadis is readily available on torrent sites...I'm not going to put a download link up...due to legality issues... but if you need it privately message me and I will happily provide you with a link.

It's really a MUST HAVE for any DIY volvo owner!!!

Sorry, I know this is an old post but...I'm looking on eBay right now. Is there a difference between the VIDA 2010B vs 2010C (what are the letter designations for?).

Thanks!

Don't know for sure, but I'm guessing just releases, i.e.: they add or fix something in VIDA's 2010 version they increment the letter.

For the record, I couldn't get VIDA 2011 to install on Windows 7. Had to install on XP SP3.

I can confirm that it doesn't work on windows 7 64-bit. Matt, were you using 32 or 64?

I am using VIDA_2012A running on Windows 7 Professional 32 Bit, works fine on it's own or when hooked to the car via DICE - Mike

Earlier in this thread, Firekiller stated that there is a work around for having to set the windows clock back to run VADIS which involved editing an INI file. No details were offered

I just installed my VADIS on a new computer running Windows 7. Does anyone know anything about the INI file being referenced and where it is located in Windows 7 (running VADIS in XP Pro SP3 compatibility mode)?

Thanks.
