Need Help - Evans, GA

He, my name is Jesse - the car is a 855R 175k stock- it burns plenty of oil and is leaking oil. I believe these repairs are in my near future (next 6 mos).
- valvestem seals need to be replaced
- PCV system replacement

When doing these i plan to also do
- timing belt
- a/c clutch shim
- phenolic intake manifold spacer
- add boost/temp gauge
- suitcase muffler removal

I would like to have someone's help doing these who has done this before - either way it is going to happen. I can turn a wrench but it's always good to meet someone and have an extra eye or 2.

I have done these things in the last few months since purchasing the car so i'm not a total tard or inexperienced:
- new V rotors, akebono pads, SS lines, rebuilt the brake calipers
- had Victor fix the ABS module
- replace and polish taillights
- rewire and clean headlights + hid's

Just for fun i'll add that i have 2 other cars that need a lot of attention as well so plenty of other fun to be had and i'd love to help you work on your car too

Ah, wish I was closer and I would be happy to be an extra set of eyes or turn a wrench. I am in SW GA though.... I am pretty sure I have talked to someone in the Augusta area though on the forum. I'll see if I can find that prior coversation...

I still looking for help. when my tax returns come in i will be buying the FCP kits for the Timing and PCV and doing the valvestem seals as well.

also, just FYI i will be working on my supra this weekend as i have a few days off and the parts are already in. nothing exciting just maintenance.

I will be working on my car this weekend. this is the run down:

1997 855R a/t 184k, unknown previous trans hx, about to do timing belt (due, PO said TB @ 116 when he got the car) / PCV system / oil cooler hose fixes / seafoam engine and trans tune / flush and fill trans / inspect turbo and manifold / clean all the oil out of the intercooler & intake tract / Snabb phenol intake spacer / silicone vac elbows / a-c clutch breadclip fix or maybe the real fix - we shall see.

I am planning on doing this:
crappy home pressure wash the engine/ engine degreaser
pull out and soak intercooler plumbing in degreaser
wash/clean intercooler as best i can
pull off intake mani, maybe paint it
do PCV
pull of timing covers and do timing kit
attempt to shim a/c clutch
take off oil cooler and make hoses or replace with nice junk yard one i found and pray
new rad hoses and rad flush
repair some old rubber elbows with random silicone hoses i have
attempt to put everything back in fresh and clean with new parts and the phenol spacer to boot

feel free to holler @ me if you are in the area and want to wrench from this friday until next monday
