Drivers Side Power Window Problem
I have a 2006 S60. When I pull the drivers side power winow switch up to auto-up the window all the way, as soon as it closes it goes back down to the position it came from. If I hold the switch up until the window closes, it will stay closed. Any ideas?

The window calibration is off.
Go to the fusebox on end of driver's dash and find the fuse for the DDM/driver's door module.
Put the fuse extractor or a palir of needle nose pliers on that fuse and then with key on hit button to auto-down the window and then while window is moving on its own pull that fuse. Wait 15 seconds and then put the fuse in. Now run the window up all the way and then when it is at top pull up on the switch and hold it for more than 3 seconds. You'll see the window jump during at the end of 3 seconds to indicate calibration is complete.
When the calibration slips for whatever reason the window thinks it is not all the way up at top and when it stops at top it reverses like it is supposed to if it gets stopped by a hand or fingers in the way of window. Calibration resets the DDM counter for the full up position.

We have a 2001 v70 with a unique drivers door window issue. When lowering the window it pulsates down all the way to the bottom. No problem returning to the top position. It acts as if the power is being delivered to the motor intermittently. All other window controls on the main module work fine...EXCEPT, if I lower the drivers side window and hit another window button at the same time, that window too begins to pulsate down. As soon as I release the drivers window button the other window resumes normal downward travel. I have removed the drivers side module, only to find out that it is a circuit board with micro switches and didn't appear serviceable. I tried the reset idea by pulling the fuse mid run but no joy. I have searched throughout the web and this forum for a similar problem but haven't found a similar issue. Thanks in advance for any ideas.

There appears to be an issue with the power delivery rather than with the control. Can you put a meter across the window actuator's terminals and monitor the voltage while moving up and down? I would suspect either a recessed connector pin oxidation or even loose ground, but would start with a voltage check first.
Example of Precision: Measure with a Micrometer, mark it with Chalk, and then cut it with an Axe.

First make sure there is not anything sticky on the glass. Tree sap comes to mind. This will make the glass hand on the outside wiper strip. Usually wetting thw glass with garden hose will make it roll down smooth if this is the issue.
If all is well there then take door panel off and lube the two channels on bottom of the glass. The plastic pieces on the arms bind in the channels they slide in and make it chatter also.
