2000 s40 Tools needed for changing the timing belt and seals

Post by tmoose27 »

My cam seals are leaking and I need to replace them. I figured that I should replace all the seals down and around my cam as well as the timing belt. My mechanic friend has a diagram that shows a tool that hold the pullys in place. Do I need that tool because I am taking the pullys off to replace the seals and is there a kit that I can get that covers all the seals. Also, should I replace the water pump? The car is a 2000 Volvo S40 with 178,000 miles.
