2002 Volvo S60 fan on

I bought a 2002 Volvo S60 about 8 months ago and have been having a really weird problem. I turn the car off and take the key out. go inside and have come back out a couple times to find the air blasting in the car. I put the key in and turn it then the air goes off. his has happened a few times and I am worried about it draining the battery one day/night and being stuck. Any one had this happen befor and if so what was the problem.

normal, blow dries the A/C evaporator to prevent mold & mildew stinch.

It is around 10 minutes. Some software versions are less and some are a couple minutes more.

Freaked me out when I first got my 2001 S60. I called the dealer and they acted unaware of this, but MVS Forums clarified it for me and it all made sense then.

Strangely my 2007 S60 SW is different and the cars sit side-by-side in the driveway and the '01 turns on a lot and the '07 rarely turns on.
