All,
I have a 2005 S40 and the overhead console is broken. The clips that attach it to the roof are cracked, and the unit is now resting on the rearview mirror. Makes an awful racket over rough roads. I want to know if I can replace old console pictured below, with the updated one from later model S40's, also pictured below. Dont want to buy a replacement part from a donor 2007 car if it's not going to fit. Thanks.
