This tool kit was used once for replacing the head gasket on my 1998 V70 T5.

Properly secures and aligns the camshaft and crankshaft during the R&R of cylinder head assemblies. Also useful when replacing the camshaft seal and affords the proper installation of camshaft cover to the engine head.

6 year old thread, you won't be getting a call most likely! ^_^

Crazy to see the cost of this kit back then though... You can get a new aftermarket toolset on eBay for $170 now I believe.

If anyone is using that photo as an example of how to apply the anaerobic sealer Volvo and others use IT IS WRONG! That is easily three times the sealer needed. It is scary for me to think of how much of the sealer went inside that engine and inside the bearing journals!
Use a paint trim roller, they come in a little clear plastic tray perfect for distributing the sealer onto the roller. The amount needed is like one coat of wall paint. You'll end up with a 0.5mm line of sealer on outside perimeter of head when you use that much. If is coated on the whole flat surface but you think it is not enough then you probably have the right amount.
