Door ding question - are P2 skins double layer?

Door ding question - are P2 skins double layer?

I have a 1" tall vertical parking lot ding on my left rear door. No paint damage, just a small crease. Its not bad but if the sunlight hits it just right its really obvious. I was thinking of opening the inside of the door panel and gently tapping it out from the inside.

But I didn't remember if the outer door skins are one layer of sheet metal or two.

Any thoughts?

One layer except where the diagonal door beam is behind it.
