Valve appears to have a very slow leak. Its difficult to see where from since its so slow. I am planning to buy and fit a new valve to save ordering time. Any comments on this problem? Does it need to be recalibrated once fitted? Is there a simpe fix like a ring or gasket once I get inside the thing?

Just replace and bleed.
I do not know where you'd get service parts for the valve. Volvo does not service components of the valve nor does anyone else using those valves. There is a strong spring inside.
