Do all AW70L have a notch for the CPS?

I'm searching for a used AW70L for my 1992 940 and I notice some internet postings mention that the bellhousing has a notch in it for the CPS. Will all the AW70Ls have notches for the CPS? Mine does. If I find one that doesn't have a notch, how precise does the notch have to be? Can I use a grinder to make one?

I think any you find in US will have the notch or the notch is outline cast and not knocked out.
If you found one with no prep then measure and grind.
