Just had the 120k maintenance ($390.36) by the same guy in Colorado (Bruce at Volvos by Jeff) who has been working on it since 40k miles. New back Brembo rotors with Volvo OEM pads and correct shims and lso replaced the exhaust clamp ($436.21). Both of these things literally happened this past week. The car is mechanically perfect as it sits. Professional Volvo Service here in Houston did the brake work (shop was recommended by the forum members). Anyone that would like can call Richard and ask about my car. He is a super good guy, was really impressed with the condition of the car and we talked for a couple hours about Volvos (his S60 is amazing). He doesn't know about what just happened with my grandfather though.
Exterior - paint is in great shape with no scratches, two very small door dings that I would have to point out to someone. No dents or rust either. Clear bra on front to protect from chips. Glass is perfect all the way around. Weather stripping and bumper pads are all in perfect condition. The only negative about the car in my opinion is the previous owner destroyed the front lip of the R bumper on a steep driveway in Colorado (the wires and plugs for the fogs are still there in perfect condition waiting for some fogs). He couldn't locate a good R bumper so he replaced with a new stock bumper. Tint all the way around and a fade on the windshield.
Interior - best part. Almost immaculate. There is a little piece of broken plastic around the back passenger's trim that goes around the door pull. That's it. Even has a perfect 3rd row seat from the factory. Also has full spare in back, perfect condition.
Wheels - 17" Titans wrapped with 205/45ZR17 Continental Extreme Contact DWS (these were put on in Feb 2012 for $685.30, only 3,000 miles on them) has a full transferable warranty from Discount Tire. One of the Titans has some rash but it's nothing horrible. The other 3 are in good condition.
BEST PART - I have records of all maintenance for the past 10 years and since 40,000 miles, all from the same independent Volvo shop in Denver that has been operating for almost 40 years (Volvos by Jeff). It's literally a stack of service records. The only modification made are painted calipers, K&N and the IPD skid plate to protect underside of engine and transmission.

PM for number and calls or emails are welcome, but obviously I'm not entirely pumped about the idea of selling this car so I don't want to reminisce about how awesome 850's are. The whole situation sucks. Every little button and feature on this car works and is runs and drives perfectly.

I'm asking $6,200. If anyone was looking for a perfect 850R. This is the one. Nothing needs to be done. I don't believe there could be too many other R's out there that are cleaner overall. Don't hesitate to PM questions and my email is [email protected]
