Chips, exhaust, larger turbos, bigger/slotted/drilled rotors, high performance brake pads, manual boost controllers, performance shocks/struts/springs, airbox mods and more! Upgraded MAF

Post by madspeed50 »

Has anyone experimented with upgraded Mass Air Flow sensors? Because ive always been a Mustang guy, this was always a viable upgrade. Im thinking something like that off an XC90 or similar. Thoughts?

See Matt's most recent post in the Performance section (Fast Friday #5 and #6).

I'm moving your post to that section; hopefully you'll get the answer you want there before this one gets buried in the standard 850 forum by other posts.

This is not a viable upgrade for the volvo. The MAF is larger than the TB.

That shouldnt matter if the tune is there. I recall running 90 mm mafs on 70 mm tb on several stangs. Now i realize this might be a bit different ballgame...
