Sponsor Question

I've shopped using MVS banner sponsors and noticed something peculiar.

The two sponsors "myvolvopartsonline" and "volvowholesaleparts.com" Use the exact same search engine, with the same page layout, give the exact same results and the exact same prices. The only difference is the wallpaper on their sites.

I think they are actually one and the same company.

I just placed an order with IPD. They aren't currently offering any MVS discount which was disappointing. But their prices were really good. I bought a Motive Power brake bleeder for $59.95 ($72 elsewhere) and two aftermarket brake lines for $17ea (they were $32ea at my local preferred Advance Auto Parts store).

So, great prices.

I've noticed that any of the online OEM parts dealers also use the same. I stopped by the local dealership today to check on parts availability, and he told me exactly the same thing I had found online. It seems they are all connected in the end.

As for IPD, FCP and the like, they may have a stock of OEM parts that no longer registers with the dealership distributors.
