Any time a new problem happens after a repair/modification, it is almost always a result of that repair/modification.

So you really have to mentally go through all the procedures that you did prior to all this no-start issue.
The problem can be traced to your repair.

Even though it was the second thing I checked, the problem was a blown fuse, (#4Ignition coil / fuel pump). My old age must be getting to me. I had actually pulled each fuse out of that row and checked them. Not well enough! My poor vision did lead to me pulling the center console and repairing the cigarette lighter that had pushed through the console as well as adding a small amount of grease on the plunger that releasing the stick shift when you press the break. The solenoid was functioning, but the plunger had dust and dirt around it and it would not carry the full throw. So all is well this morning. Of course cranked her up for a test drive and watched the driver side head light go out! Off to the parts store I go!

I appreciate the replies!
The site has been a fantastic resource for the 850, S70, and S70XC. The 1995
850 is still going strong!
