Hi Group,

I'm looking at buying an Ignition Control Module for my 740 2.3 non turbo. My car's particular module has 5 pins..but all the new ones I looked at are 6 and more pins. Question: will the 6 pin module work in the place of the 5 pin? Or where can I buy a 5 pin online.

You must be talking about the power stage out on the inner fender. The ignition control module is above the brake pedal.
There may be some 6 pins that will work. The 6 pins off a 960 will not work. The power stages from most any 740 or 760 or 240 are the same.
