1996 850 Want to add remote entry.

I recently purchased a 1996 Volvo 850. It is a standard non-turbo car. It did not come with remote keyless entry. I took out the glove box, found the green connector where the remote unit would connect. Later i bought one off of ebay (part# 9148645). I then purchased 1 used Volvo 850 remote and 1 aftermarket remote (both are supposed to work with this). I tried the programming of this (turn ignition off and on 5 times in a 10 second period, then press remote lock or unlock). Do I need anything else??? I am thinking their might be another set of relays that should be installed here. Any ideas would be greatly appreciated. Thanks.

1) Are you sure you got the right Volvo remote - check the FCC ID numbers.

2) I think you need the 210/211 relay. Since you've gone this far, you might as well add the dash LED and alarm horn as well.
