One uses the automatic tensioner and a certain length belt.
The other uses a mechanical tensioner and thus a different length belt than those that use the auto tensioner. The engine number is on the side of your timing belt cover. However, most people know that the "change-over" year was 1998...some of the '98's had auto tensioners and some had mechanical ones. From '99 and newer, all TB's have mechanical ones. So, yours being a '94, I'm almost certain that it uses the autmatic tensioner, but you should look at your engine number to make sure.

THE ONLY NUMBERS THAT I COULD SEE AT THE TIMING BELT COVER WAS A STICKER WITH 1289959 ON THE UPPER PARTS OF THE STICKER AND BELOW THE NUMBER 166816, THAT IS ALL.

LET ME GUESS, IT MEANS THAT 166816 IS THE NUMBER OF THE ENGINE AND IT FOLLOWS THE 131035 AND IT MEANS THAT IT IS AN ENGINE THAT WAS BUILTED AFTER, ???? I AM CORRECT OR WRONG ?

I WILL APPRECIATE YOU HELP IN THIS SENSE BECAUSE I NEED TO ORDER THE COMPLETE SET OF TIMING COMPONENTS . THANKS

Yes, that is correct: http://www.fcpgroton.com/volvo850timing.htm
Apparently I was thinking of the S70 Timing belt which is a much larger number....either way with your's if you take either number's last 6 digits, it will be the same thing...see the link I provided.
