FS: parting out a 97 850 GLT in Oregon
We were given a non-running 1997 850 GLT sedan, were hoping to get it going, but the problems are deeper than hoped. Low to no compression in 4 cylinders. So it's going to be going to a junkyard, but before it does, just wanted to give people a chance to purchase any parts they needed from it. This site was a huge help to us working through some diagnostics, so would love to return a favor and help some others out. Nothing significant is missing from the car. I'd rather not worry about shipping any large parts, but I would consider it for the right price. Make an offer on something you might need. I'm new to volvos, so if there's more info that I should include, please let me know. Parts would be shipped/picked up from southern oregon. Thanks so much.

Really ready to give up? Have you done a leak down test to determine why compression is low?
I can understand not wanting to deal with rings or a cracked block, or engine swaps, but valves and head gaskets aren't *that* hard to repair.
