Converting 1990 US model 240 from R12 to R134A AC

I got a costemer who has this 240 wagon US model orignal for US from tourist and service bourou or something like that His an ex marine i think.

Im getting the car ready for inspection. very little work as its a good CA car.

He wants the AC to work again

it has an orignal R12 fitted. so it has to be convertered to R134a
I know volvo use to make kits for these but im not sure they are avelibel anymore. i work at old volvo dealer/special volvo shop. so have acess to most but havent been able to located the serivce book on retrofitting R134a

has anyone done this lateley and know if these kit are still aveible maby aftermarket?

Apologies for the delay in replying but I couldn't find this immediately.

I don't know if the kits are still available but this covers the procedure for cars from 1975 to 1990. For the 1991 on model the instructions are slightly different.
