I've been stunned every time I've checked in on the progress of this project, Ack. If I had a wagon and needed a sedan (instead of my current, opposite situation), I'd seriously consider this S80.

Advice: add some exterior shots in an additional post to this topic.

Anyone: read my 850 vs. S80 impression topic if you care to. Keep in mind my S80 sample was my dad's, which for over a decade now was administered maintenance like the Sahara is administered rain: just the bare minimum, please. And he's always driven it like a grandmother, which IMHO is a bad thing.

Hi Matthew, nice of you to drop in :) Thanks, but i am never satisfied with the work i do anyway lolol, im a perfectionist. The car is really gorgeous, next plan is to turn the straight 6 longitude wise and make it 6 speed rear wheel drive.
Using Pontiac 6 speed manual from a G6 with G8 rear end and axles and/or just make it into all wheel drive using, XC90 Output shaft and some custom fab. Should be interesting. Since the new tripple edge transmission, i turned the boost up on the S80 to 13 lbs and man, its A ROCKET!, but now its back down to stock. i like to keep the milage at 77k .
Anyone who can appreciate the work and ideas i have put behind this S80 will get a very nice ride for the price im asking :)

I think its a great deal...

i will add some more outside pix, as soon as i get new 18'' tires for the Nebula's.

PS i have read your post above a few times ! Good observation. I love allllll the aspects of the S80 , actually all Volvo. Specially the idea of a 5 cylinder motor ! Any who... ttyl.
