Wanted - 240 Tutor - Lower Mainland, B.C.
I have two 240 sedans, a 1989 and a 1991.
They are great cars, but need more TLC than I’ve been giving them.
Work is sporadic at best, and I just cannot afford shop rates anymore.
Just as importantly, though, I'd like to be more hands-on knowledgeable with them.
I have the desire to fix their problems, but not the know-how or self-confidence. As a result, I tend to ignore an issue until it becomes critical, and then take it to a shop. Recently, I lost my ’84 wagon to the wrecker because of this.
I’d like to get together with someone who has the knowledge and ability to help me with maintenance and repairs, hopefully within a reasonable driving distance of Moody Park, New Westminster. I don't mind coming to you if the car is drivable.
Sincerely,
Doug

Hey, I'm in New West as well, let me know what kind of help you need I may be able to give you a hand.
If I paid attention to signs with little symbols I’d never find anywhere to park.

Thanks for the offer, TrstnBrtt.
If you are into it, let's get together and look at the cars and see what you think.
I'm pretty sure the '89 needs rear shocks replaced.
The windshield wipers on the '91 slap like crazy on each end of the stroke. I know we rarely need wipers in New West
, but I'd love to get that problem resolved.
