Fit 240 Engine in my 960

Greetings Gentlemen

My 960 edgine overheated and needs a major overhaul

I like the 240 engine better than the 960 engine, because it has a standard distributor and coil, and is hence easier to maintain than the 960 Electronic ignition

I bought a 240 car with an excellent engine and intend to fit the engine into my 960

The propshafts appear to be the same and distance to the rear engine mountings is also the same

The only problem appaers to be that the front engine mounting is 4 inch further forward on the 960 (6 cylinder engine)

Any comment and advice would be greatly appreciated

Let's see new engine mounts, possible need for an adapter to mate engine to gearbox, modify exhaust, custom radiator etc hoses, poss mod for rev counter, mods to fuel system,
There is never and easy or cheap engine conversion.
