There's a storm a-comin'

And she's a biggen.

Sure you've seen the news anywhere in the country.

Looks like anywhere from DC up to NY/PA is going to get clobbered, HARD by this storm.

To anyone in the affected areas - be safe!

It looks like the east coast may get hosed on this one.

Having seen the devastation caused in VT last year by Irene, strongly recommend anyone in hilly or mountain areas either stock up for two weeks of isolation or get the hell out.
I was part of a 4x4 brigade of volunteers that reached out into the woods of VT where roads and bridges were washed out by the volume of rain.

Yep, sure is a biggun'. Don't know how the weather is up there in Springfield but we've got a pretty big rain forecast in North Carolina even, it's just passing along our coastlines, but might hit some parts of NC, SC and Florida pretty hard...

Here's hoping the gas prices don't skyrocket again.

Just receiving the reports this afternoon about the devastation. Our thoughts are with those suffering this freak storm and who are currently sitting it out in relief centres not knowing what to go home to. Also our thoughts to the family and friends of the 13 who have perished. Let's hope this tally is over.
