Hi All. I did another test on the system yesterday and this time it came up with: both fuse 24 and 32. I don't know where to go from here. What do I check and/or replace with these two draws. It makes sense that the climate control is sucking the battery dead. When it's cold outside I can come out of a store or something and it's dead. Battery is drained every 1 - 2 days. Also the sunroof no longer opens or closes.
I just need to know what to check now that I finally know what's putting a draw on the system. This is a 2001 Volvo V70 XC.
Thanks!!

You're almost there!!
The wiring diagram for your car should tell you which components/systems are used by them. The parasitic draw test continues with meter leads measuring current across where the removed fuse lay (while in current range) while you unplug circuits such as climate control etc while viewing the readings on the meter. As soon as you've found the culprit(s) the current draw readings will drop to within a normal range. This may mean that the device you've just pulled is faulty or the wiring leading to it is chafed/shorting.

Yep use the mouse on a PC to hover above on the black sections under Repair Database.
It's incorrectly named S70 2001.

I couldn't find it. I did go out to look for it but I guess I don't know what I'm looking for.

It's 45mb too big to upload and attach to this post.
I downloaded it myself this morning so it's definitely there.

Thanks Precopster. I think I found it. It's 48.6mb. Is it labeled 2001_S80_2001_S70_wiring_diagram.pdf?
Thanks!

That's the one!! Once you go through you'll see it doesn't relate to S70 at all. It has V70 menus.

Do you have any idea where to start?? I can't make heads or tails from the wiring diagram. I do have a mechanical guy working with me. The things that I would let you know are:
1. I know it has something to do with the climate control sensor. If I leave the car and it's either hot or cold (mostly in cold weather) I come back and the fan is on by itself. Car dies ever 1 or 2 days battery is drained.
2. My sun roof no longer works. Before it was working sporatically.
Please someone give me some kind of instruction on where to start. I can't afford to bring it to a mechanic so I have to try to fix myself. I think the climate control issue is more important right now because my daughter cannot use the heat or AC.
Thanks!!
