Lubbock, TX area. Running project car. 5 speed manual transmission with 2.4L 5 cylinder engine has 174,000 miles. Vehicle is white with tan interior. Front wheel drive and ABS. Never been wrecked, good tires, airbags, and current tags and sticker. Over the past three years have replaced timing belt, blower motor, cv joints, wiper arms, battery, fuel pump relay sensor, and camshaft position sensor. Complete tune up about 1 year ago and regular oil changes have been done.
Heater works and A/C needs charged. Needs front rotors and brake pads. There is something draining the battery but I do not have the knowledge to track it down. Mechanic looked at it and stated the battery and alternator are fine and that the on-board diagnostic unit is not throwing any codes to indicate the problem. Has battery cut off switch installed to prevent the battery drain. Check engine light has been on since purchasing the car in 2005 but has not affected the operation of the vehicle.
The car is not perfect and is showing its age, but with some TLC and mechanical know-how this vehicle has a lot of potential to run many more miles. Selling vehicle due to moving out of town and cannot take it with me. $1000 or best offer. Serious inquiries only.
