2000 s80 radiators plastic nipple to overflow hose broke off
Expansion tank hose was starting to leak , buddy of mine snapped the small plastic nipple off the top of the radiator, that went to the tank while trying to remove the hose. Has anyone had any luck with epoxy or tapping a brass nipple into it, . . . or any other suggestions? Thanks

Your car is 12-13 years old. If you still have the original radiator, you're starting to run on borrowed time. You may just want to replace it now and not risk a catastrophic failure that could cause you some REAL problems. Often times the upper radiator hose neck will literally blow off and you'll lose a whole lot of coolant in just a few seconds. These aluminum engines don't take kindly to that. Not trying to freak you out - just saying from personal experience. Mine was 13 years old when it blew.

+1 with last post. My 2000 V70s radiator just cracked the side tank at 163K miles which would be your passenger side. Cost from Volvo dealer $299 in Australia.
Not too hard to swap but I have done it before.
