spark plug hole size

Can anyone tell me what the opening size in mm is of the spark plug hole on the 94-850 turbo 5 cyl is? I'm looking to buy a snake camera with a 9mm cable in order to look inside the hole. In other words will the 9mm fit? Thanks,

I use a Snap On BK-5500 which is an 8 mm and I can get it through the spark plug hole just fine. Once it is inside the cylinder it is not terribly maneuverable but they have a 90 degree mirror adapter that lets me look at the cylinder walls and the valves.

I think that a 9 mm would fit but it will be a bear to get a look at stuff on the cylinder walls and the valves.

What are you looking for once you are in the cylinder?

Lee, thanks for the reply. I'll check out the Snap On camera. Looking to see what a 300,000 mile engine looks like. It has been treated for quite awhile with Orion 5000 EL. It is a synthetic engine and fuel lubricant.

8.5 mm didn't fit . I went with the Autel MV400 with a 5.5 and it fits great. I only bought this to assure my clients. I do a leak down test for positive evidence of a leak.
