1994 960 help needed....keyless entry etc.

Just got this 960 and it is loaded with everything.....it has the remote keyless sensor on the right front dash speaker. I don't have the key fob. I followed the instructions found on BB to locate the control unit....it is NOT located on the right side of the glove box. Is there another location?

I'm thinking the sensor on the right dash speaker is for the climate control. It is on my 88 765.

On the '94 960 there was a choice of two alarm systems:- Basic or Guard Alarm 11. The item in the right hand speaker grille is an indicator LED which is incorporated into the AC/ECC solar sensor.

Do you have a display on the front door pillar as in the attached?

One of the problems trying to sort this out is to determine which alarm system is fitted. If your car is a late '94 model it may have the '95 alarm system.
