Low beam problem

Post by Integrexman »

I have a 2001 V70 T5. My problem is the low beams do not always work. Either they both work or they both don't. When they don't the message reads "Bulb failure dipped beam". I tryed a new bulb on both sides with no luck. The high beams and all other lights inside and out do work.

Intermittant short in the wires going to the lights is what I suspect...either that or corrosion in the bulb socket itself. I have the same issue with a fog light on one side. Sometimes it works and sometimes it doesn't. Still haven't been able to fix it. I'll tackle it one day when I put my mind to it.
