Post by rdragoo »

I have been scouring the internet trying to find out if a trans from a 2001 S40 1.9t would fit into my 2000 V70 SE .....the model numbers from what I found seem thatthey are the same. Does anyone have any information on this? Thanks; Ray D

As your research shows, it should be the same 5-speed used in the V70.

Watch out for that stop-neutral feature.

I unfortunately am living the dream on the ususal fails of the transmission:-( I am new to this whole thing. Do you know if I can use the transmission module in the v70 or would I need to use the one from the donor car?
