Where can I find information on here about the v90?
Just general things. Saw one for sale and was wondering about them.
Thanks

Look up the 240, 740,940 & 960 forum. Essentially the V90/S90 is a 95-97 960 with different badging.
Very solid car but they are a dated design. Volvo revamped the front suspension and most panels for the '95 model year. I owned a '93 model 960 for 3 years but motors were scarce in Australia due to low numbers sold. Different story in the UK and USA.
Mechanics generally like the layout for ease of access unless they're replacing rear cam seals which have awful access. Transmissions are very solid when cared for and given fresh fluid. A cooler for the transmission will make these a good tow car for medium jobs such as trailers and small caravans.
The straight six is a very smooth and tractable engine. They like cruising at 60+ mph.
Finding a good example requires diligence and planning. Too many of these have fallen in to the hands of youthful cash strapped drivers who may have neglected them so be careful when choosing.
