Wood grain trim
I know I may be in the minority here, but I decidedly hate the faux wood trim in my interior. Any ideas on what to do with it? I know I'd like to paint it but I don't know what color. The rest of the interior is the beige with charcoal trim and I know the base models had charcoal trim to match the rest, but that seems boring. I need to remove the console trim anyway to fix a crack by the cigarette lighter. Any suggestions would be great. Thanks.

I can't speak for certainty with Volvos, but I had wood trim on a 96 Toyota Camry that I hated. I probably hated it because the clear coat over trim was cracking and looked awful. I pulled up a section and found very nice looking charcoal trim underneath. I spent the rest of the day pulling it all up and cleaning the surfaces with an cleaning soloution. Looked great to me when I was done.
