Actually, it's the other way around. Prior to my ownership, the car was hit by a coyote (seriously, a coyote). It was damaged low, behind the front tire. The PO had the fender replaced and the shop painted the full front door, instead of pulling a blend. The color match was poor though if the door was blended properly, it wouldn't be so obvious. In the time since, the door & fender have faded much more than the rest of the car, which is still factory paint. Actually, the front bumper cover has been painted, too, but was blended nicely in the middle so it looks fine. The rest is the paint that left Sweden...JRL wrote:Simple

Thanks for correcting my about the name of the color. I had it in my head as Dakar Yellow, shoulda googled it to be sure...
BTW ~ Sale is pending to a Volvo fan in VA. If all goes to plan, he'll take delivery later this month.
