I purchased a 2001 S80 T6 last year and as expected, have had to fix a few minor things on it. A few weeks ago, the power steering started acting up...it would be fine when cold but would slowly go out as engine warmed up. Now, it's basically completely out. Before I replace the power steering pump, I wanted to ask if anyone has experienced this before? Could it be something more simple than the pump?
Any feedback is well appreciated. Thanks!

Fluid level and condition?
I hate to say it, but its probably the rack as they tend to go out and it's a drop subframe job. I'm not well versed on isolating the variables in the power steering system, but for sure I would look into that before replacing the pump or any parts for that matter.
