high beams - 2005 xc90

Post by nidantwo »

The high beams will not stay on. I pull the turn signal switch to turn the high beams on. The come on, but as soon as I release the switch, they go off. I replaced the switch, but issue remains the same. Could it be the relay? if so, can you tell me which one to replace?

What position is your headlight on/off switch in? My wife and i had the same issue when we bought ours. Turn the switch fully clockwise when driving at night. Your high beams will remain engaged.

Thanks. I will have to check that. I noticed the light switch was not where I was expecting it to be. I will change the switch and see what happens - and let you know.
