Second owner 200k mile club. My father drove the car off the lot and I bought it from him at around 150k. Still have the original sticker and all the brochures that come with the manual. I even belong to the Volvo heritage club(silly?) I hit 200k on April 4th of last year and now have over 230k.

Nice car Rondo, and a nice story too.
I hit 200k on Dec. 2nd, 2010 with my 850. I'm the second owner and pretty soon I can say that I put 200k on this car, because it had 42k on it when I bought it in 2002. It's been great all these years, never given me any serious trouble. Some people have asked me if I'm not getting bored of it, but I can honestly say I'm not.

It's funny, I thought I was the only one who took a pic of my odometer. I don't feel like such a geek now. It's a good feeling keeping this car looking and running good. I just wish it wouldn't fight me every step of the way.

July 29, 2011 for my old 98 S70 T5. 2nd owner.
https://www.matthewsvolvosite.com/forums ... =1&t=41390

I handed it over to my brother in April 2012 with ~218,000 miles on it. He's since only put about 3,000 on it, and it's still running great.
It will soon see another Blackburn off to college in the mountains. Hoping that it continues to be a good car for him for 2-3 years before it can be retired to a garage somewhere as a weekend driver.

1998 V70, base model, FWD, 5 speed manual with 241,200 on the clock. We bought it from the original owner a touch over 7 years ago with 72K on the clock. It got a used (58,000) mile engine in April of 2012 (and a new clutch to replace the original which was not down to the rivits at 229,500) and just had a cylinder head refurbishment due to a burnt exhaust valve (that's probably what killed the original engine). We are the second owners and I can't say when it turned over 200K, but since I put about 20K a year on it, I'm going with about 2 years ago.

98 V70 T5 has 228,000 Miles on it. Bought with 182K on it in Feb 2009
'99 S80 T6 has 208,000 Miles on it. Bought with 189K on it IIRC in March 2009
Both are daily drivers. We are not original owners I think we are owner # 3 on the S80 and #4 on the V70.
I honestly have no idea when they turned 200K, I'd have to check.

I'm counting the miles in my sig line. My sister-in-law bought the car new and kept it maintained great for the years she had it. Then she gave it to her daughter and it sort of went down hill from there. So I am the second owner,(was never titled in her name) of this coral colored Volvo. I add about 1,800 miles every two weeks, so if everything keeps going I should be at my next mile marker by summer.
I hope to have camera ready for that moment.
Shane

1998 s70 glt, 233k as of May 2010. Bought it as non-running with a salvage title, turned out all it needed was plugs and an IC hose.
Sold it to a coworker who was in a pinch and needed a cheap car, I helped him bring it to stage zero as he had the funds to do so. The only bad thing is that it was leaking out the rear main, and still does as he won't fix it. Otherwise he takes good care of it.
It should be hitting 300k in the next year.
